How to make a WEDO biscuit platter
For a party snack, unexpected guests or a team break, a well-composed biscuit platter always makes an impression. Our four-step method, with quantities for eight people.

A biscuit platter has a small superpower: it brings people together. Placed in the middle of the table, it invites everyone to help themselves, taste and compare. It still has to look appetising, though. The good news is that a few simple principles are enough to make a successful platter with WEDO biscuits.
The principle: vary shapes, colours and flavours
A monotonous platter does not catch the eye. On the other hand, a selection that alternates round and rectangular shapes, light and dark biscuits, butter, vanilla and cocoa flavours is instantly tempting. That is the whole point of the variety in the WEDO catalogue.
Step 1: choose five or six products
There is no need to multiply the ranges. Five or six products are enough for a varied platter. A balanced selection could be:
- GALETTE BRETONNE, a butter biscuit;
- TARTELETTES, tart-shaped and filled with cocoa;
- SANDWICH Vanilla, a crunchy biscuit filled with vanilla cream;
- DELATO, a cocoa biscuit filled with cocoa cream;
- COOKIES WEDO Cocoa, cocoa cookies with cocoa chips;
- and a touch of marshmallow with VAMOS COCO Milk or VAMOS Milk.
Step 2: play with contrast
Mentally sort your biscuits into two families:
- the light ones: Galette bretonne, SANDWICH Vanilla, COOKIES WEDO Vanilla;
- the dark ones: DELATO, Tartelettes, SANDWICH Cocoa, COOKIES WEDO Cocoa.
Then alternate these two families on the platter. The eye moves from one biscuit to the next, and the platter looks more generous than it really is.
Step 3: arrange with method
Start with the largest and most regular biscuits, such as Galette bretonne and SANDWICH, arranged in a fan or in rows. Then place the Tartelettes and DELATO in small groups. Finish with the cookies, which fill the gaps.
For VAMOS and VAMOS COCO, there are two options: leave them in their individual packs, so everyone can take one, or cut them in half at the last minute to show their marshmallow heart.
Keep a little free space: an overloaded platter becomes hard to serve.
Step 4: add a few extras
A few simple items complete the whole nicely:
- fresh seasonal fruit, washed and cut;
- some dried fruit in a small bowl;
- a pot of mint tea or a coffee pot close by.

What quantities for eight people?
Counting about three to four biscuits per person, here is a basis using the formats in the WEDO Biscuit 2026 catalogue:
| Product | Pieces per pack | Packs |
|---|---|---|
| Galette bretonne | 8 | 1 |
| SANDWICH Vanilla | 4 | 1 |
| DELATO | 6 | 1 |
| Tartelettes | 6 | 1 |
| COOKIES WEDO Cocoa | 6 | 1 |
| VAMOS COCO Milk | 1 | 4 |
That makes thirty-four pieces, enough to satisfy eight sweet tooths. For a larger group, simply double the quantities.
