WEDO cookies: easy ideas for a snack to share
A pack of cookies, some fruit, a drink: a snack does not need to be complicated to please. Five easy ideas with WEDO cookies, and how many to plan.

Snack time is often the most awaited moment of the day, especially when it is shared. The good news: with a pack of cookies and a little organisation, it quickly becomes a small ritual. Here are five simple ideas, to adapt to the age and number of guests.
Two WEDO cookie recipes
Before the ideas, a quick overview. The COOKIES WEDO range offers two recipes with cocoa chips:
- COOKIES WEDO Vanilla, vanilla cookies with cocoa chips;
- COOKIES WEDO Cocoa, cocoa cookies with cocoa chips, easy to spot thanks to the word “Negro” on the pack.
Each 32 g pack contains six cookies.
The catalogue also includes MAYBI COOKIES, a range signed ema Chocolate, the company that makes WEDO. They come in vanilla or cocoa flavour, with cocoa chips, in a 40 g pack containing eight cookies.
Idea no. 1: the half-and-half snack
Open one pack of each recipe, vanilla and cocoa, and arrange the cookies alternately on a plate. Everyone helps themselves, and those who cannot decide try both. It is the simplest formula, and often the most popular.
Idea no. 2: the snack box for the week
On Sunday evening, prepare the week’s snacks: one pack a day, alternating recipes and ranges. The packs slip easily into a school bag or a sports bag. The children know what to expect, and you save a little time every morning.
Idea no. 3: cookies and fresh fruit
Pair a few cookies with a plate of seasonal fruit cut into pieces: orange segments, banana slices, grapes or diced apple. The contrast between the fruit and the cookies makes the plate more colourful and the snack more complete.
Idea no. 4: the snack workshop
For a birthday or a Wednesday afternoon, turn snack time into a workshop. Place the cookies, some cut fruit and a few small bowls in the middle of the table. Each child makes their own plate, decorates it and presents it to the others. A simple activity that happily keeps a small group busy.
Idea no. 5: with the right drink
A glass of milk remains the classic partner for a cookie. A hot chocolate is a treat on cold days, and older children will enjoy a tea. To go further, read our ideas for pairing biscuits with hot drinks.
How many packs should you plan?
It all depends on appetites, but here is a simple basis for your calculation, using the catalogue formats and about two cookies per person:
| Number of guests | COOKIES WEDO (6 pieces) | or MAYBI COOKIES (8 pieces) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 to 3 people | 1 pack | 1 pack |
| 4 to 6 people | 2 packs | 2 packs |
| 8 to 10 people | 3 to 4 packs | 2 to 3 packs |
For big appetites, just add one pack: you will never be caught short. For a large table, mix the ranges: cookies, Galette bretonne and SANDWICH Vanilla are all great for sharing.
And when you have guests?
Cookies also have their place in a wider selection, alongside other WEDO biscuits. Our article How to make a WEDO biscuit platter explains how to vary shapes and colours.
